Manon Diemer est une artiste française basée entre La Rochelle et Paris.
Elle étudie d’abord le design graphique aux Beaux Arts de Lyon, puis le motion design aux Gobelins
à Paris. Après avoir travaillé en agence pendant 4 ans, elle se consacre entièrement au dessin qu’elle travaille sous toutes ses formes. Avec un sens particulier du cadrage issu de sa pratique photographique, elle capture des éléments singuliers et représentatifs de la nature ou de l’architecture. Son travail reflète un amour véritable pour la beauté brute et sauvage de la nature.
Elle articule des traces du réel dans un imaginaire qui se veut foisonnant, emprunt de mystère et de fantasme. Les sciences naturelles s’entremêlent aux mondes imaginaires inspirés par ses lectures, ses voyages. Sa pratique du dessin est riche d'une multitude d'outils et de techniques, cherchant à adapter au mieux le sujet au médium. Les paysages imaginaires et les mondes perdus sont comme des refuges, des escapades hors du temps et du monde réel. Enfin, son travail s’inscrit dans une volonté d’investir le champ de l’écologie et de la préservation de l’environnement.
Manon Diemer, is a French artist based between La Rochelle and Paris.
She first studied graphic design at the Beaux Arts in Lyon, then motion design at the Gobelins in Paris.
After working in an agency for 4 years, she devotes herself entirely to drawing that she works in all its forms. With a particular sense of framing stemming from her photographic practice, she captures singular and representative elements of nature or architecture. Her work reflects a genuine love for the raw and wild beauty of nature.
It articulates traces of reality in an imagination that wants to abound, borrowing mystery and fantasy. Natural sciences intertwine with imaginary worlds inspired by her readings, her travels. Her drawing practice is rich in a multitude of tools and techniques, seeking to best adapt the subject to the medium. Imaginary landscapes and lost worlds are like refuges, escapades out of time and the real world. Finally, her work is part of a desire to invest the field of ecology and the preservation of the environment.
